Author self-archiving policy

This policy sets out the ways in which International Journal of Human and Health Sciences authors may self-archive versions of their work on their own webpages, on institutional webpages, and in other repositories. Our self-archiving policies vary depending upon the licence selected. Authors publishing open access can typically make a version of their article publicly available immediately upon acceptance. Commercial reuse of open access content may be restricted, depending on the Creative Commons licence selected. Authors may reuse the Abstract and Citation information (e.g. Title, Author name, Publication dates) of their article anywhere at any time including social media such as Facebook, blogs and Twitter, providing that where possible a link is included back to the article. Preferably the link should be, or include, the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) which can be found in the Citation information about your article online. All other authors retain the right to make an Author’s Original Version (preprint) available through various channels, and this does not prevent submission to the journal. Reuse of the accepted and final, published versions of your manuscript is restricted. You may post the accepted version of your manuscript to a personal webpage or to an institutional non-commercial repository immediately on publication on the proviso that this version is not made publicly available until 12 months after publication.

Repository Policy

Authors are encouraged to make underlying data/biological materials available upon reasonable request, where this is possible. We also encourage the deposition of data/materials to a discipline-specific, community-recognized repository where one exists, or a generalist repository if no suitable specific resource is available, in order to aid in the future replication of methods or the completion of follow-on studies. Repositories can be found via sites such as re3data.org. Where data have been deposited in a public repository, authors should state at the end of the abstract the dataset name, repository name and number.
